1Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using BAID X you agree to these terms. If you use BAID X for a company or organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2Who can use BAID X
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under Ghanaian law.
- You must give accurate information and keep it current.
- One person, one account. Companies may add staff through an organization.
3Roles and what they can do
BAID X has five account types: Worker, Company, Project manager, Business / supplier and Individual employer. Each role sees different tools. You may only use the tools for your role.
- Companies own projects, approve workers, spending and payments.
- Project managers run a project for a company within the limits the company sets.
- Workers apply for jobs, accept tasks and report progress.
- Suppliers list products and equipment and answer inquiries.
4Verification and the badge
BAID X reviewers check identity and business documents. The Verified badge means we reviewed the documents you submitted at that time. It is not a guarantee of skill, quality or conduct.
- Only BAID X decides verification. A paid plan never buys the badge.
- We may remove the badge if information turns out to be false or out of date.
5Projects, work and payments
BAID X is a platform that connects people. Work agreements are between the people involved. We provide tools to record projects, tasks, reports, requests and payments.
- Company approval is always required for expenses, materials, equipment and payments.
- Payments are in Ghana cedis (GH₵). Mobile-money and card payments are processed by Paystack; we don't store card numbers.
- Wallet balances and withdrawals follow the rules shown in the Wallet screen. Fees, if any, are shown before you confirm.
6Messages, files and calls
- Messages and attachments are end-to-end encrypted between devices that have set up secure chat. Where the other person hasn't, the chat says Not encrypted yet.
- Don't send unlawful, harassing, hateful or fraudulent content.
- Calls connect directly between devices. We don't record calls.
- You are responsible for keeping your backup password safe. We can't recover it.
7Acceptable use
Don't:
- Impersonate others or submit false documents.
- Scrape, attack, overload or reverse engineer the service.
- Use BAID X to move money you know to be stolen, or to defraud anyone.
- Harass or discriminate against people.
- Take payment for BAID X work outside the platform to avoid agreed fees, where fees apply.
8Plans and billing
Paid plans unlock more capacity and tools. Prices, periods and renewal rules are shown before you pay. A plan activates when the payment is confirmed by Paystack. If a payment fails, we may give a grace period before limiting your plan. Plans don't change your verification.
9Suspension and ending your account
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, put people at risk, or are inactive for a long time. You may stop using BAID X at any time. Records we must keep by law (for example payment records) are kept for the required period.
10Liability
BAID X is provided as is during the test period. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses from work done between users, delays, or third-party services (such as mobile networks and payment providers). Nothing here limits rights you have under Ghanaian consumer law.
11Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before significant changes take effect. Questions? Use Profile → Help center in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
